Hi! I'm Garet Taylor, the Operations Manager (also tax preparer) at Oroville Tax. I grew up right here in Oroville. I earned my Bachelor's degree in English Education from Pensacola Christian College in Florida in 1997. After graduating college, I spent several years in finance, lending, and real estate. My career took a turn into law enforcement where I have served the past 15 years. My wife and I have been married for 28 years and have three daughters and three grandsons (soon to be 4). In my free time I enjoy sports, traveling with friends, and spending time with my wife and little grandsons.

Hi! I'm John Holden. I received my degree from Chico State University in 1972 with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. Upon graduation I went to work for a local C.P.A. and started my tax career. In 1993, I earned my Enrolled Agent certificate and opened my own tax practice. I came to work at Oroville Tax in 2003. Hi, I'm Rebekah North. I have a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Production Operations from Chico State University. My husband and I currently own a small Tree Service company where I do the bookkeeping. I wanted to expand my knowledge in the area and decided to become a professional tax preparer. I am CTEC certified and look forward to working with the community at Oroville Tax. My husband and I have two daughters. We all love the outdoors. Road trips with the family are one of my favorite things to do as the U.S. has some of the most beautiful places in the world.

Hi! I'm Ed Maston. I am the former owner of Oroville Tax, but I enjoy the work so much I decided to stay on board! I graduated from Sacramento State with a bachelor's degree in Business with a Concentration in Accounting in 1976. I then earned my Master's degree in taxation from Golden Gate University in 1981. In the same year I received my CPA certificate. I have been preparing taxes for over 45 years and am currently an Enrolled Agent! It has been a pleasure serving the community, and the outskirts, for many years.

Hi! I'm Vickie Nicodemus. I am a life-long Butte County resident and a retired Public Safety Communications Supervisor. I am a CTEC certified tax preparer who has just joined the team at Oroville Tax. I am looking forward to a new career assisting others with their tax preparation needs. I have actually been a client of Oroville Tax for many years and am happy to be a part of this great team. On my own time, I enjoy ice hockey, auto racing, crafting, gardening, cooking, and spending time with my grandchildren, and, of course, my rescue dog, Timo!

Hi, I'm Becky Garcia. I have been with Oroville Tax for 12 years as the Front Office Manager. I schedule the appointments for the tax preparers as well as help keep the office running smoothly. (I also make sure there is plenty of coffee for our clients!) I am married and have two grown children, four grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. I have returned to my hometown of Oroville and have recently joined the team at Oroville Tax. I am a CTEC registered tax preparer with an Associate Digital Bookkeeper Certificate. I also have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. On my off time, I enjoy outdoor adventures, baking sourdough bread, and spending time with family. Hi! I'm Sunshine Hunt. I have been preparing tax returns at Oroville Tax for the past 11 years (13 years total experience). I am a CTEC certified tax preparer and am currently studying to get my Enrolled Agent's license. Working with my clients to help them understand tax law in order to better their financial situation is what I truly enjoy about my career! My husband and I have been married for 22 years!! We have two wonderful children, Riley and Aurora. My time off is mostly spent working in the garden and around our property. Our family's biggest hobby is Off-Road Racing!!

Hi! I'm Aurora Hunt. I just joined Oroville Tax to help at the front desk during the office's later hours. I am currently a senior in high school and am set to graduate in June. Working at Oroville Tax will allow me to get more work experience as I will be moving on to Nursing School to prepare for a career in the medical field. Hi! I'm Sunny Hogan. I have worked at Oroville Tax since year 2000. My prior career was in banking. Working at Oroville Tax has been challenging and rewarding. Meeting new clients and reconnecting with my long-term clients is always something I look forward to every year! I enjoy not only the business side, but the building of relationships as I prepare their personal and small business tax returns. During the off-season, I enjoy traveling to Mexico, Europe, and other places throughout the U.S. visiting with family. Many of my clients know I travel and ask about my journeys, but most of all, I enjoy finding out what is going on in their lives!
